The Story

Buddy Boy was born from a childhood nickname my father gave me, reflecting the bond we shared and the adventures we had in the great outdoors. From exploring tidal meadows and winter sunrises to quietly wandering forests, he taught me to cherish nature and leave it as we found it.

Years later, inspired by those lessons and my own adventures in places like the Colorado Plateau, I noticed a gap in the waste receptacle category—there wasn’t a product that truly supported outdoor enthusiasts in preserving the wild. It became a calling for me to design a new product for my own adventures. That’s why I created Buddy Boy: a family-run company based in Pine Mountain Club, California, dedicated to helping adventurers leave no trace.
